Playdate Records second release is quite a revelation.
Krachmacher – german for noisemaker – started up as an improvising, avantarde rock experiment. They spread their wings as a noisy, eclectic electro rock being, and now lands with their first album "Paratrooper" with catchy, energetic artrock, which has just as much in common with 90's indie, as kraut rock and dansable noise music. Hear White Days’ pulsating drive, Karma's cool beauty, Geil's liberating craziness – and the majestic finishing track Hymn To Imperfection.

Krachmacher stretch their songs longer than the pop format of the radio, and fill them with brutally beautiful improvised cacophony, surprising structures and innovative transitions. German Eva Pfitzenmaier's feathery touch of old-school jazz in combination with fuzzy screams and an unhindered register is dancing on top of a fiercely driving rhythm section, consisting of the noiserock duo The Sweetest Thrill. After their recording, Krachmacher extended their members with Linn Frøkedal of The Megaphonic Thrift and Low Frequency in Stereo.
